The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced the Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025. This is a great opportunity for students who have completed ITI and want to work with Indian Railways.
There are 2412 apprentice positions available in different trades and locations under Central Railway. This is not just a job – it’s a training program where you will learn practical skills and also get paid ₹7,000 per month during the training.
Online applications start on 12 August 2025 and will close on 11 September 2025. If you have passed class 10 and have an ITI certificate, you can apply.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education
- Pass class 10 (with at least 50% marks)
- Have an ITI certificate in the trade you want to apply for
- Engineering graduates or diploma holders cannot apply
- Age Limit (as on 12 August 2025)
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- Persons with Disability: +10 years
Selection Process
- No exam or interview will be held.
- Selection will be based on a merit list made from:
- Your class 10 percentage (minimum 50%)
- Your ITI percentage in the relevant trade
- Both marks will have equal weightage.
- If marks are the same, the older candidate will be chosen.
- Shortlisted candidates must:
- Show original documents during verification
- Pass a medical test

- Click on the link for “Engagement of Act Apprentices – Apply Online.”
- Register by filling in your name, contact number, and email ID.
- Verify with the OTP sent to your mobile.
- Fill the application form with your details and qualifications.
- Choose your preferred cluster and unit.
- Upload scanned documents:
- Photo and signature
- 10th mark sheet and birth proof
- ITI mark sheet and certificate
- Caste/disability certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar card
- Pay the application fee online.
- Submit and take a printout of the form.
